Areas of Practice

New Jersey is on the brink of becoming the latest State in the Union to legalize marijuana/cannabis.  This is going to require the law setting up the structure. These will most likely be similar to alcohol licenses so you need to make sure that the details are in order and that’s where we come in.

dOMESTIC Violence/ Restraining Orders

In most cases of domestic violence, a restraining order is granted which is intended to protect the alleged “victim”. There are multiple different types of restraining orders typically issued. The order is initially granted temporarily, to give the accused the opportunity to plead their side of the story, which normally comes at the time of the restraining order hearing. Without a restraining order being vacated, the defendant is forbidden from having contact of any sort with the “victim”, their residency, and most frequently, the children. Our staff has experience in these types of cases to assist you in pleading your case.

Legal representation for the recovery of assets that have been wrongfully taken either stolen, fraudulently misappropriated or otherwise disposed of to remove them from their rightful owner, and money remaining after all liabilities, including taxes, insurance, and operating expenses, are paid.

Traffic Defense

A lot of people think that it is a good idea to represent themselves in municipal court because, "it's just a traffic ticket."  Well, you wouldn't perform surgery on yourself or give yourself a haircut, either.  This is the same thing.

Criminal dEFENSE

Legal representation to defend against accusations of criminal charges or traffic offenses.  We routinely represents clients charged with crimes ranging from DWI to homicide. Mr. Campbell is one of less than 250 attorneys Board Certified by the NJ Supreme Court as a Criminal Trial Attorney.

Of all the traffic tickets you can receive this is one of the most serious.  It is one of the few things which cannot be pled down to a lesser charge. The penalties for driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs can be life-changing. This does not mean they cannot be won, it means that there are many moving parts, and many angles that need to be addressed in order to succeed.

Juvenile Justice

Juvenile crimes in the criminal justice system are a different than adult criminal actions. Children between the ages of 11 and 17 are subject to the juvenile justice system.  This is slightly different than the adult criminal system in that it is focused on rehabilitation not punishment. If your child faces involvement in the juvenile justice system, ensure that they have the benefit of high quality legal representation.
